For families
Money skills for young people, practised with virtual money only
InvestiKid is a learning app for 11 to 18 year olds. Short lessons explain saving, spending and investing, a market simulator lets them try it with virtual money, and you get a progress report written in plain English.

What learners do
Money is easier to learn by doing than by being lectured. Each session takes a few minutes, so it fits between homework and everything else.
Short lessons
Quizzes, real-life scenarios and video cover saving, spending, borrowing and investing, and the reasons behind them.
A market simulator
Follows real market prices, but every trade uses virtual money. Mistakes cost nothing, which is the point.
Revise
Brings back the ideas a learner got wrong until they stick, instead of moving on and hoping.
Coach Penny
An AI helper that answers “but why?” in plain language. It is a Premium feature and needs a parent’s consent (see safety).
Streaks, levels and an arcade
Small rewards that bring learners back and reinforce what they have learned.
Written for their country
A learner in the UK learns about ISAs. A learner in the US learns about 401(k)s. Not the other way round.
What parents get
You should not have to hover over a shoulder to know whether your teenager is learning anything.
A mastery report in plain English
What your young person can now do that they could not before, rather than a list of screen minutes.
Controls that are yours
Freeze an account, manage notifications and friend requests, unlock or restore Premium, and answer requests for it.
One subscription for the household
Premium covers up to two learners on the same account, not one fee per child.
Guides when you want them
Our parent guides cover pocket money, compound interest and how to explain investing, whether or not you use the app.
Built to be safe for young people
Financial education should not come with the things you spend your time protecting them from.
- Virtual money only. The simulator uses pretend money. No real money is invested, moved or at risk, and InvestiKid is not a brokerage.
- No adverts. None in the app, and none on this website.
- No chat with strangers. Learners cannot message people they do not know.
- You approve purchases. Buying Premium needs the approval or password of the account holder on the phone. Families using Ask to Buy (Apple) or Family Link (Google) approve on the grown-up’s phone.
- Parental consent for younger learners. Learners below the age of digital consent in their country need a parent or guardian to say yes before they can use the app.
- No location tracking. The app never asks the device where it is, and it does not collect your family’s real finances.
AI, disclosed plainly
Coach Penny is an AI helper. It is a Premium feature and needs a parent’s consent. When a learner asks Coach Penny a question, it is sent to our AI providers, OpenAI and Google, to write an answer, which we check for safety before the learner sees it. Coach Penny explains ideas; it does not give personal financial advice.

Questions parents ask
Who is InvestiKid for?
Mainly 11 to 18 year olds and their families. Accounts can be opened from age 8 (13 in the US), and learners below the age of digital consent in their country need a parent or guardian’s permission first.
Is any real money involved?
No. The simulator follows real market prices, but every trade uses virtual money. InvestiKid cannot buy shares, hold money or move money for anyone.
Does InvestiKid give financial advice?
No. It teaches how saving, spending and investing work. It does not tell anyone what to buy, and nothing in the simulator predicts what real investments will do.
How does Coach Penny use AI, and who sees the questions?
Coach Penny is an AI helper that needs a parent’s consent. A learner’s question is sent to OpenAI and Google to write an answer, and we check the answer for safety before the learner sees it. The privacy notice names both companies and explains what is kept.
What does it cost?
The core curriculum, simulator and streaks are free. Premium is £5.49 a month or £43.99 a year in the UK ($5.99 or $49.99 in the US), covers up to two learners, and adds Coach Penny, advanced lessons, every world market and the capstone challenge. Coach Penny is free for 14 days.
Does InvestiKid show adverts or sell data?
There are no adverts. We use your family’s information to run the app and keep it safe, not to sell to you or follow you around the internet. The privacy notice has the detail.
Is there an Android app?
It is in testing on Google Play and the public listing is coming. The iPhone and iPad app is on the App Store now.
How do I cancel or get help?
Cancel Premium in your App Store or Google Play account settings. For anything else, visit support or email support@investikid.ai.
